Iyengar Yoga Retreat in Mexico: April 20 - 27, 2024

Enjoy a full week of yoga and friendship at a quiet resort on Mexico’s warm Pacific Coast. Located approximately 90-minutes from Puerto Vallarta, Mar de Jade is situated between the tropical jungle mountainside and the blue-green ocean of the Chacala beach. The natural beauty of this place, the fresh ocean air, and the comfortable accommodations inspire quiet reflection—it’s the perfect place to retreat from everyday life as we practice yoga together.

Join Tonya Garreaud and Nina Pileggi for this seven-day all levels yoga retreat. Each morning begins with an active two-hour class followed by a delicious breakfast. There is time each day for optional excursions—visit the Altavista petroglyphs, the local Mexican market, nearby villages and beach towns, or simply relax on the beach at Mar de Jade. In the late afternoon, a restorative and pranayama practice will leave you refreshed after the activities of the day. Enjoy a week of good company and healthy food; rejuvenate your practice in the fresh ocean air.

The cost of the retreat ranges from $1,660 – $3,160 per person, based on choice of accommodations. Price includes seven nights’ lodging, well-balanced organic meals and two yoga classes per day. Not included are airfare to Puerto Vallarta, ground transportation, off-site excursions, spa treatments, bar drinks, or gratuity for staff.

Registration: A $250 deposit reserves your space. An additional payment, half of the total cost based on your choice of accommodation, is due within two weeks; this room deposit is not refundable after February 9. The full balance is due March 1. Cancellations prior to February 9 can expect a refund less the nonrefundable deposit. After February 9 the amount of the room deposit also becomes nonrefundable. Cancellations after this date and up to 14 days prior to the start of the retreat may transfer this deposit toward another reservation at Mar de Jade if used within 18 months.
